Plate type transducers

Plate-type resonators consist of a straight or bended stainless steel plate, to which a number of ultrasonic transducers are secured appropriate to the desired output. The plate is flange-mounted from outside, with screws, to an appropriate aperture in the cleaning tank by means of a welded frame, gasket and contact frame. The transducers setting up ultrasonic vibrations which are transferred to the adjoining liquid. Plate-type resonators permit existing plants to be retrofitted for ultrasonic cleaning in cases where a reduction in the existing tank capacity cannot be accepted.
